We are happy to announce the fourth Insightfulness Assessment workshop which will take place between September 15-19 2008 in Stockholm, Sweden. The Insightfulness Assessment is based on an interview with parents following their viewing of video segments of themselves interacting with their children, and is designed to assess their capacity to "see things from the child's point of view." The Insightfulness Assessment has been proven to be an effective, methodologically rigorous, and clinically sensitive tool which is associated with parental caregiving and child attachment in both normative and at risk samples. It is currently used in a variety of studies, including intervention studies and studies of children with Autism and other developmental disabilities.
Registration is now open to both researchers and clinicians for a 5-day workshop in which participants will learn the theoretical underpinnings of the Insightfulness Assessment and how to code the interviews.
