Julian Baro

Julian is a Policy Associate for the SRCD. He is currently studying for his Master’s in Public Policy & Administration at American University asynchronously and will be matriculating in the Spring of 2024. He graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and minored in Communications in 2020. Julian had always been fascinated by how research based-methods can enhance our understanding of people and the policies that affect them. He has spent most of his professional career working to advocate for our nation’s most vulnerable communities and intends to put his experience in the field, and the classroom, to use by supporting SRCD’s policy agenda, products, and fellowship program goals. He is honored to work for an organization dedicated to supporting a global network of human developmental scientists, researchers, and policy strategists committed to advancing progress in their own fields of study as well as for the world at large.
