SRCD, with its flagship journal Child Development, has joined 14 other leading publishers in developmental science to improve the submission process for authors and reviewers. Under this new collaboration, papers not accepted to Child Development may be recommended for referral to another journal in the Network.

Please see below for a guide on the “6-step” process.

Roisman, Ph.D. “The Network will serve to meet the needs of the evolving publishing field.”

In the new Network, authors will be granted the opportunity to accept the referral with or without revisions. Reviews of the paper may also be transferred with the manuscript which relieves pressure on the peer review process.

For questions about the Developmental Science Publishing Network, please contact incoming Editor-in-Chief Glenn I Roisman, Ph.D. (roisman001@umn.edu) or Melissa Lutchkus at the SRCD Publications Office (mlutchkus@srcd.org).
