SRCD Joins Research-Based Organizations in Letter to Congress Regarding NIH's Reinterpretation of the Omnibus Language on Clinical Trials

In April 2018, SRCD, along with 23 other research-based institutions, called on Chairmen from the Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, HHS, Education & Related Agencies to collaborate with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in redefining what constitutes as a clinical trial and to develop a system of registering and reporting basic research involving humans that does not create undue burden and costs on awardees.
