SRCD signs on to science community letters in support of "Improving Justice Programs through Science Act of 2019"

SRCD joins the science community in signing-on to two letters in support of the Improving Justice Programs through Science Act of 2019. Senator Brian Schatz (D-HI) and Representative Madeleine Dean (D-PA) introduced the Senate and House versions, respectively, on July 25. The House version of the bill has three cosponsors: Representatives Evans (D-PA), Scanlon (D-PA), and Garcia (D-IL) and the Senate version has four cosponsors: Senators Markey (D-MA), Booker (D-NJ), Blumenthal (D-CT), and Whitehouse (D-RI).
