Sade Cole is a Policy Associate at the Society for Research in Child Development (SRCD). In this role, she supports policy initiatives within the SRCD Child Policy Hub and helps coordinate the U.S. Policy Fellowship programs. Sade is deeply committed to advancing evidence based child and family policy. Before joining SRCD, she worked as a Program Manager at Voices Unbarred, where she led program initiatives, coordinated partnerships, and supported advocacy efforts focused on elevating the experiences of people impacted by the criminal legal system. She has also worked as a Research Assistant at the Brookings Institution, and a Fellow at Georgetown University’s Center for Nonprofit and Public Leadership. She holds a Master of Public Policy degree from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Sciences from Virginia Tech.
