SRCD submitted a response to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Ranking Member Cassidy’s request for information on NIH Reform. In our letter, SRCD provided recommendations and feedback on how the agency can continue to support our members by enhancing initiatives for recruitment and retention of high-quality researchers, especially researchers that come from diverse backgrounds. We also highlighted the important role the NIH has as the leader in science and innovation in the U.S. and the international community.
