On Friday, November 3, 2023, SRCD sent a letter urging U.S. Congressional leadership to pass spending legislation to avoid a U.S. federal government shutdown. As the current continuing resolution (CR) ends on November 17th, federal lawmakers should put children and scientific research as their top priorities. We also look ahead at the upcoming appropriations process and call for sufficient levels of investment in developmental research to support our members’ work.
