Martha Zaslow, Ph.D.

Martha (Marty) Zaslow, Ph.D., is SRCD’s Senior Advisor. Dr. Zaslow is also a Senior Scholar at Child Trends. She serves on the scientific advisory committee for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (U.S. DHHS) Administration for Children and Families National Research Conference on Early Childhood. Previously, Dr. Zaslow served as the Director for Policy at SRCD, where she lead efforts to disseminate research to decision-makers, brought updates about policy developments to SRCD members, and worked to strengthen SRCD’s outstanding Policy Fellows Program. Between June 2020 - April 2021, Dr. Zaslow served as SRCD's Interim Executive Director, overseeing staff and business operations of the Society and working in partnership with Governing Council, Committees, and Caucuses to further SRCD’s strategic goals. She was a member of the National Academies of Science, Engineering and Technology consensus committees on Developmental Outcomes and Assessments of Young Children.
