Congratulations to Dr. Eddie Brummelman, SRCD member and recipient of the Federation of Associations in Behavioral & Brain Sciences (FABBS) Early Career Impact Award. Dr. Brummelman is a leading developmental psychologist and associate professor at the University of Amsterdam studying the developing self.

SRCD Anti-Racist Developmental Science Summit Virtual Issue

In recognition of the SRCD Anti-Racist Developmental Science Summit held on May 15-17, 2024, Wiley, in collaboration with the Summit co-organizers and journal editors has produced a free, open access virtual issue focused on anti-racist developmental science.

This special virtual issue features curated articles from Child Development, Child Development Perspectives, Monographs of Child Development, and Social Policy Report. The virtual issue will be available for free until July 31, 2024.

SRCD Task Force on Publications and Ethical Behavior Final Report

The Final Report of the Task Force on Publications and Ethical Behavior is now available, along with a memorandum from the Governing Council that summarizes its responses to the thoughtful recommendations presented in the Task Force report.

The Society for Research in Child Development (SRCD) publishes three journals, as well as the Social Policy Report. SRCD members receive full digital access to all three journals as a benefit of membership.

Social Policy Report Call for Submissions

The editors of Social Policy Report are now accepting topic proposals and submissions on a rolling basis! 

Social Policy Report’s new editorial board has developed new guidelines for proposing report topics and submitting full manuscripts for peer review.

These guidelines reflect an increased emphasis on policy impact and on the interactions between and among, research, policy, and practice.
