Travel Awards
Thank you for your interest in the 2026 Global Forum.
We recognize that travel costs can be a significant barrier for some potential attendees. We are deeply committed to supporting participation from scholars and practitioners with limited access to funding and are actively fundraising to provide assistance in this area. We anticipate offering a limited number of travel scholarships, contingent upon available funds.
Please Note:
- The number and amount of the Travel Awards depend on our final funding situation.
- Eligibility criteria and application procedures will be determined after the review process is complete and acceptance notifications have been sent, likely in February 2026.
- At this stage, we cannot confirm whether any particular individual will receive support.
- The 2026 Global Forum is an in-person meeting and there are no options to participate virtually. All Awardees must attend the in-person meeting.
- Travel Awards will be given out as reimbursement after (up to 45 days) the meeting (via electronic transfer) and required documentation has been submitted. There will be timed electronic check-in slots during the meeting. Failure to check in electronically during these times will result in your travel award being revoked.
Detailed information about Travel Awards, including eligibility, application instructions, and deadlines, will be communicated to accepted presenters once funding budgets have been finalized.
Thank you for your patience.
