Call for Submission is Available! 

The Society for Research in Child Development (SRCD) invites submissions for the 2025 Biennial Meeting, to be held on May 1-3, 2025, in person in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. SRCD encourages submissions from researchers at all career stages, including graduate and undergraduate students. Please review the call carefully and adhere to the submission requirements to ensure smooth operation of the submission, review, and decision notification process.

SUBMIT TO #SRCD25 

SRCD normally does not accept submissions that have been presented or published before the meeting unless they differ from the original in additional data or new findings or additional comparisons, etc. Even in cases where SRCD Biennial Meeting participants may not have had access to your original presentation, the current submission should not duplicate an earlier presentation submitted at a conference/meeting or published in a journal.

The #SRCD25 submission deadline is Thursday, September 26, 2024 (11:59 PM EST). No changes or updates will be allowed after the submission deadline. If you have any questions about the #SRCD25 submission process, contact the SRCD Program Office at programoffice@srcd.org.

Call for Reviewers

SRCD will rely on a large team of volunteer reviewers from multiple disciplines to evaluate submissions for the 2025 Biennial Meeting. We project that we will need over 800 scholars with expertise in all areas of child development for this submitted program. The intellectual reputation and research strength of the SRCD Biennial Meeting is derived in part from the rigor of our blind, peer review process. Each submission will be reviewed by a minimum of two (2) reviewers. Reviewers will be assigned 12-15 submissions by the review panel for which they volunteer. All reviewing is completed online. Reviewers will need access to the internet and be available from October 10 through October 25, 2024. All assignments should be finished and submitted no later than Friday, October 25, 2024, 11:59 PM ET. Please click here to review the procedures and guidelines to becoming a #SRCD25 Reviewer. Note: The number of reviewers needed is dependent on the number of submissions to a panel. Therefore, not all volunteers may be invited to serve on a panel.
