SRCD is dedicated to providing an inclusive, harassment-free experience for everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, immigration status, nationality, social class, religion (or lack thereof), gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, career status, or political ideology. Ombuds services will be offered throughout the SRCD 2027 Biennial Meeting to promote a fair, equitable, respectful, and harassment-free environment for all participants.

What is an Ombuds?

The ombuds is available to listen to any concerns regarding unwelcome behavior, including incidents and allegations of harassment. An ombuds will listen objectively, discuss options, and offer guidance on whatever you may be facing and, when appropriate, direct you to other resources available as participants of this meeting. All communications with the ombuds are confidential except when there is an imminent safety concern.
