SRCD is pleased to announce the 2021 call for nominations for Governing Council (including President-Elect, Secretary, and Members-at-Large), eight (8) SRCD Committees (Equity and Justice, Ethnic and Racial Issues, Finance/Audit, Interdisciplinary, International Affairs, Publications, Science and Social Policy, and Teaching), and Student and Early Career Council (SECC) representatives to each of the committees.

Current SRCD members are eligible to nominate, and self-nominations are encouraged! Membership is not required to be nominated although those elected and appointed must agree to join SRCD for the duration of their term.

In keeping with the Society's commitment to diversity and inclusion in all its forms, we encourage nominees who can contribute to a fuller representation of perspectives in SRCD governance, including those from under-represented racial/ethnic groups, those from outside the United States, those living with disabilities, those from disciplines other than psychology, those from predominantly teaching-focused institutions, and those who work in sectors other than academia (e.g., philanthropy, government, business, law).

Below are details and links for nominating in the following categories:

Elected and appointed individuals from each category will take office immediately following the April 2021 Biennial Meeting. Thank you for your engagement and participation.

Nominations Deadline:
Tuesday, September 8, 2020, 11:59pm ET
